CITB is in the process of reviewing the grant scheme and considering how it might be developed in order to meet industry needs and ensure access to relevant skills and training.

The purpose of training delivered against this standard is to provide candidates with an introduction to Formwork and its associated risks to health and safety and environment.

The purpose of training delivery against this standard is to provide candidates with knowledge and understanding of Steelfixing.

This standard covers the process of training people who plan, install and then manage the concrete pour for insulated concrete formwork (ICF).

This training standard will enable trainees to develop their knowledge of aggregates, how and when they’re used, and the practical impacts and consequences of using different aggregates.

This training standard is designed for candidates who undertake or supervise identity testing on site and to understand the significance of the test methods and assessment of results.

Wind post installation

The purpose of training delivered against this standard is to provide candidates with the knowledge and skill to be able to safely and effectively install a windpost.

Specialist Applied-skills Programme (SAP) grant

We pay grant for learners on the Specialist Applied-skills Programme (SAPs). These programmes last 18 months and contain several related modules, leading to a Level 2 or 3 National or Scottish Vocational Qualification (NVQ or SVQ).
