12C Operative - Refresher

Delegates will be able to: be aware of sector schemes and general health and safety at work;be aware of reference documentation relevant to Mobile Lane Closure Techniques;be able to conduct pre-works checks on MLC advance warning vehicles and trailers; understand the roles and responsibilities of MLC operatives; understand the principles and practical techniques when using the Mobile Lane Closure Technique.

Achieving performance through people

This standard is exclusively for use by Approved Training Organisations (ATOs). The purpose of this standard is to enable the delegate to develop knowledge and understanding of using leadership and inter-personal skills to establish effective teams and achieve high levels of performance through people as required by a practising or potential site supervisor.

Advanced Scaffolder

This standard covers the training requirements for a scaffolding operative to be able as a member of a team, to erect, alter and dismantle the scaffolds safely and in their correct sequence. The trained operative will also be suitably qualified to lead operations as a charge hand in a scaffold gang carrying out all types (Basic and Advanced) of scaffolding works. The completion of this course allows an operative to register and qualify for a NVQ/SVQ level three. This training standard was previously held under the occupational area Scaffolding.

This standard focuses on the key knowledge and in-depth understanding in relevant architectural areas.

ATTMA Air tightness testing - Level 1

This 4-day course provides both the knowledge and understanding required to air tightness test single dwellings and other small simple buildings.

ATTMA Air tightness testing - Level 2

This 3-day course provides both the knowledge and understanding required to air tightness test simple and non-simple buildings except those defined as: Large buildings with an envelope area over 80,000 m2; High rise buildings with more than 15 storeys; Phased or zonal handover buildings

CAD for site engineers

This standard focuses on skills which can be used to optimise control point accuracy, collect and manipulating survey data, set out using design information and calculating quantities. The content is relevant to all types of construction including earthworks, roads, houses, buildings, foundations, piles, structural steel, structures and reinforced concrete.
