NHSS Impact Protection Vehicle

The purpose of this standard is to cover 12A/B scheme for static temporary traffic management on motorways and high speed dual carriageways including on-line widening schemes. It is aimed at anyone who works on high speed roads, running mobile hard shoulder (or non-live lane) operations using an IPV and for protecting and installing static temporary traffic management.

The purpose of this standard is to provide a refresh on 12A/B scheme for static temporary traffic management on motorways and high speed dual carriageways including on-line widening schemes.

Safe working practices around construction plant

The purpose of this standard is to give candidates who work in close proximity to mobile construction plant machinery an understanding of how to work safely around construction plant and machinery. This includes earthmoving and lifting appliances commonly found on construction sites and incorporates excavation awareness and traffic/vehicle movements within site activities.
